What some guests have said !

5 out of 5 Stars! The photos on both sites were totally accurate and give a pretty good sense of the house. But if anything they undersell it because you don't see the jacuzzi in the HomeAway pictures! It's also hard to get the layout from the pictures...I didn't realize until getting there that there was both rooftop terrace and a backyard, they look like the same thing in the pictures. We loved the location (30 seconds to an almost private beach? awesome!), the kitchen, the numerous beds, the and the lawn chairs provided with the house. The rooftop is also PERFECT. A few of us decided to sleep up there on the lounge chairs to see the stars, which was really unforgettable. Also, it's hard to beat the combination of jacuzzi, bbq, wet bar, and sunset. To be honest, the roosters cock-a-doodle-doo at dawn, so be prepared for that. The “Activities/ Suite 8” book provided on the coffe table, along with the extensive list provided by the owner were both great. And the property manager was great and always responded promptly whenever we had questions. We would definitely return to Suite 8 and we highly recommend it to others. Happy New Year Robyn and Andy!   Back for a few days and it sure felt like I wanted to take a nap for the past 4 days after being so relaxed in Rincon. First off, thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to spend our holidays in your home. Tentatively I would like to say that we would like to do it again next year.    PART 1   Having just spent 2 weeks over the holidays at Suite 8 I have to admit re-entry into the real world isn't easy. My partner and I, along with my 70-something parents, couldn't have been happier with the choice of this property. First, the Suite: It is all that the pictures here show it to be and more and was cleaned extremely well. The kitchen was well equipped. I did make a big pasta sauce and pasta to have on a couple Christmas and New Year so that we could just chill out and enjoy the comforts of home on the holidays. There were pleanty of pots, pans etc to do all of that. The living room and dining area off the kitchen have comfortable furniture and the TV has cable and a lot of channels. I can tell you that ALL the football games came in fine and my Dad watched every one. The plunge pool outside the door was great. I think only 2 of us actually took the "Plunge" but the waterfall filler and underwater lighting mad it feel like we were at a luxury spa. The sound, the color and and the luminescent quality of the pool gives the whole thing a spa-like quality that is surprisingly relaxing. There ia an i-pod dock and DVD player in the common area as well. A 1/2 bath and 1st floor laundry make a lot less up and down the stairs. The Garage has 2 bikes, a bunch of beach chairs, beach toys and that kind of thing. All of that stuff is in great shape and well organized. The bedrooms on the 2nd floor are really quiet from one to the next but not to outside noises (as is the case in every PR place we've ever been in).The beds are REALLY comfy with nice bedding, and decent pillows. The bathrooms are nice. The best thing about the suite is by far the roof deck. With the Jacuzzi, chairs, a BBQ and sink, and a full bath... we could have lived up there. It is quite private which is good for hot-tubbing and sunning. We went right up there every night after sunset (Without the parents) and did the hot tub thing, took showers and had cocktails as the last breaths of day became night. It was a magical time each day and MADE our vacation. We also started our tan-time each day as high tide made the beach prohibitive an hour a day.   PART 2   A few other points about the Suite: There are plenty of beach towels and bath towels etc. The place is well stocked with all the essentials to get you started. There is a great grocery store at the end of the street, Edwards. Wine is not the number one import and finding good wine can be a challenge but they also have a pretty good selection at Edwards. My suggestion... stick to local rum and get off cheap. Now for the reality of where you are going: If you are looking for Palm Beach or Naples, you are looking in the wrong place. Rincon is a surf town with local people living real lives and a surfing crowd superimposed on top of it all. My family has been going to this town for a long time so we know exactly what it's all about it and we love it. We LOVE the roosters crowing at literally the crack of dawn. We LOVE the packs of mutty dogs that roam around with less to do than Americans on vacation. We love the neighborhoods where you can smell the chicken cooking while tomorrows fare pecks around the yard. Where else can you get this culture? This is a place that has a real grit to it and has not been sanitized for the tourist trade. If a vacation where a bathing suit is formal wear is what you want... you've got it. Local food, local drinks, local sounds and sights... this is it. The home owners have done a great job creating a guide book in the Suite that recommends restaurants and local activities. The realty company that meets and greets does a nice job of preparing the suite, orienting you to the suite and addressing whatever issue that may come up. Bottom line, we can't wait to go back to Rincon and even more than that, we can't wait to return to Suite 8. Enjoy your Stay! Chris Hyannis, MA December, 2010 _____________________________

My husband, two-year-old son, and my mother spent a week at this property in June. We had a wonderful time. The property is brand new and super comfortable with a lot of great amenities. The dipping pool, open downstairs area (living room/kitchen/dining room), or the roof deck (with a grill) are great places to hang out together as a group while the very comfortable and sizable bedrooms provide privacy when needed. The beach is about a one-minute walk away and is great for both swimming and snorkeling. The palm trees provide natural shade for those who want to hide from the heat during the day. Our son loved the sand on the beach and the warm water and he would have spent the entire time in the dipping pool if we'd let him. The Rincon area is ideal for people who want to relax and enjoy fun and low key vacations. There are plenty of places to eat or to go out for drinks but it does not feel overcrowded and hectic as some beach destinations can get. We would highly recommend it. I loved it and would recommend it highly for both it's amenities and location. It was even better than it's represented on the website. It's a great condo and I think some of the pics don't fully show its qualities. A google earth shot would also relate its proximity to the beach and town, both of which are ideal. The townhome is beautifully done, accomodating & comfortable. Cable TV a plus, though on vacation, nice to tune into things periodically. The Baseball Classic on PR TV was great.  Our faves were snorkeling, beach combing, and late afternoons at Maries.  We explored the beaches from the condo to Dogmans & Tres Palmas, around the light house, etc. Maries just became our default end of the day spot for ocean watching and a cocktail. Sunday mass and the marketplace was nice. Olga and Ed, March 2009  _____________________________

Hi. We loved Suite 8 and felt very luxurious and pampered by all of the wonderful features. It really was a perfect vacation and anniversary celebration; and we would recommend your townhouse to anyone. We loved the dipping pool after a swim in the ocean and although we didn't use the hot tub a lot, when we did it was so peaceful and sweet. Cooking was easy and it was a great way to save money but still indulge ourselves. We appreciated the beach towels, the bed was comfortable, and the furniture was elegant. I don't think we checked the website thoroughly before we left and didn't realize there was a washer and dryer..which if we had studied the website more thoroughly we would have packed lighter! Our favorite things to do were to hang out on the beach, walk to Villa Cofresi for a sunset drink; all of the lounge chairs in front of Cofresi and the rental place for the banana boat are for the public. So we wandered over to the chairs and parked ourselves for hours. We biked over to Corsica beach behind the stadium quite a few times.... where we were at the most beautiful beach imaginable. Every Friday the Corsica campground (near Nativo's ) has a fresh fish/pig chicken roast and that was fabulous - watching the sunset... surrounded by local people. We biked to Tres Palmas and went snorkeling and met 2 sea turtles and were transported by the beauty of this other world. After snorkeling we had a wonderful dinner at Shipwrecked. Nativos was really good and they have a Monday nite special of wings and shrimp for a quarter each. We met alot of people on our bikes and when we went into Rincon somone told us about a small resturant next to Pancho Villa's and we had a huge lunch for $5.00. So the combination of eating at 'home' and eating out was balanced and adventuresome. We would love to rent your townhouse again as we both fell in love with this part of Puerto Rico. We talk about Puerto Rico every day and keep saying this was the perfect vacation. You gave us a gift! Morgan and Jodi, Winooski, VT February 21, 2009 _________________________________

February 14 - 21, 2009- “The condo was first rate, much better than I had expected. It is far bigger than the web pictures indicate. The pictures make the rooms look tiny. The appointments are first rate from the kitchen, to the linens to the beach extras in the garage and under the stairs…     The neighborhood is typical of PR… everyone we met in the hood was great. The beach was everything you described and more; calm the first 3 days then wild surf to finish. Great sand for castle building. At the intersection of 115 and calle 14 is a rib/barbecue place that is excellent. We booked a sail/snorkel on the Katarina which was very affordable and a ton of fun. The Spot was our best meal. There are 2 beach bars just down the beach at the Rincon of the Sea and the Cofresi; both a ton of fun. Pintos are Us is another fine activity.      I loved the condo. It is really first rate and the price is very affordable. Now that I know what to expect I would certainly revisit Suite 8. We had a lot of fun.    Lastly it was a pleasure to work with you. Your information and replies were always timely. You worked with me, holding the property until another offer was forthcoming and then honored your word to give us first refusal. The deposit arrived promptly without having to ask. Thanks for all your help. You have a great property and manage it honestly and fairly.” Warren Liddell, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Oxford, NY ___________________________

February 7-14, 2009 “We found Suite 8 on Google. It was perfectly represented by the website. We particularly liked the décor, the roof-top terrace, and the general lay-out of the townhouse. The property manager was polite and helpful when needed. We would absolutely recommend this property to others. It will be our 1st choice for lodging when we return to Rincon!” Dr. David Jones, Naperville IL -----------------------------------------------
